UniFi Network
Monitors and controls one UniFi Network site from RTI. It tracks up to 8 watched clients, with the room taken from the access point, plus up to 8 UniFi devices, 8 rooms, 8 WLANs, and 24 PoE ports. An Integration Designer config script reads the controller from the dealer PC and fills the slots. Retrieving again keeps the integrator’s choices.
Workbench 2026.10.29.5 does not stop this driver after 120 minutes.
The license code is written. This packaged file does not call it yet. The key you buy is still a real per-processor license for the build that does.
What it does
Two logins An API key (Integration API) covers presence polling, device status, reboot, and PoE power-cycle. A local admin (classic API) adds block/unblock, locate LED, PoE on/off, WLAN on/off, health, WLAN names, and port states. Either login can be used alone; a local admin alone does everything.
Presence Up to 8 watches by MAC, static IP, or UniFi name. Online, home, room, access point, Wi-Fi or wired, signal, and IP. Anyone Home, Everyone Away, and first-arrival / last-departure events. A name match follows a phone through a private MAC change.
Rooms Up to 8 rooms. Retrieve starts with one per access point. Occupied, people count, and names, with Became Occupied and Became Vacant.
Devices Up to 8 slots: name, model, type, online, IP, client count, locate LED. Reboot and locate on/off.
PoE and WLANs Up to 24 ports on the switch with the most PoE: name, PoE on, and watts. Set PoE and power-cycle. Up to 8 WLANs with enable and disable.
Network health Client counts, WLAN/LAN/WAN health, internet up, WAN IP, and provider. Internet Went Down and Internet Came Back.
Compatible hardware
- UniFi OS console on port 443, or an older or self-hosted Network controller on port 8443.
- API keys need UniFi Network 9 or later. Add :8443 to the controller address for a self-hosted controller.
- Local admin must be a local controller account (Restrict to local access only). A Ubiquiti cloud SSO account cannot be used, because it needs an emailed MFA code.
- Models covered in this version: UniFi OS consoles (UDM, UDM Pro, UCG, Dream Router, Cloud Key Gen2+), UniFi Network application (port 8443).
What the job needs
- RTI Integration Designer 9.7 or later, Apex 11 or later.
- Processor runtime 14 or later.
- The processor reaches the controller. Retrieve Configuration runs on the dealer PC, which must reach the controller too.
- Use a dedicated API key and a dedicated local admin so either can be revoked on its own.
