UniFi Protect

Two-way UniFi Protect control on the official local Integration API (an API key, no UniFi account login). Up to 16 cameras, 8 floodlights, 16 sensors, and 4 Viewports. Events arrive on two websockets, so a doorbell ring is not polled. This driver is in the workbench and is listed here so dealers can see it coming. It is not sold and not offered as a download yet.

Workbench 2026.10.29.5 does not stop this driver after 120 minutes. The license code is written. This packaged file does not call it yet. The key you buy is still a real per-processor license for the build that does.

What it does

Cameras and doorbells Motion, person, vehicle, animal, package, license plate, line crossing, audio alarm, and sound (speech, bark, baby cry, horn) kept separate so talking nearby is not an alarm. Doorbell display messages, chime volume, and RTSP URLs rewritten for RTI panels.

PTZ, lights, sensors Presets and patrol. Floodlight on/off, brightness, and PIR. Sensor open, motion, leak, smoke/CO, temperature, humidity, light, and battery.

Viewports and alarm Live view by number or name. Arm, disarm, alarm profiles, sirens, and relays.

Compatible hardware

A UniFi console running Protect with Settings > Control Plane > Integrations (API keys).
HTTPS port 443 from the processor to the console, and port 7447 from panels for video.
Models covered in this version: UDM, UDM Pro, UDR, UCG, UNVR, Cloud Key Gen2+.

What the job needs

Script engine 22 or later.
Live video on panels needs IST panels or RTiPanel.
