WiiM Players

One driver instance talks to up to 16 WiiM players by IP address. Each player is its own WiiM source in Integration Designer and autoprograms the WiiM and Music Player templates: transport, volume, mute, shuffle and repeat, now playing with cover art, and presets 1–12. Properties, variables, functions, events, and sources show only the players in use.

Workbench 2026.10.29.5 does not stop this driver after 120 minutes. The license code is written. This packaged file does not call it yet. The key you buy is still a real per-processor license for the build that does.

What it does

Transport Play, pause, play/pause, stop, next, previous, seek to a time, skip, and seek by percent. Elapsed time is interpolated between polls.
Volume Set, up/down with a per-player step, mute, and a maximum-volume cap. Rapid presses are coalesced so holding a button does not flood the player.
Sources Network, Bluetooth, Line In, Line In 2, Optical, Coaxial, HDMI ARC, Phono, USB Audio, and USB Drive. Supported inputs are read from the player, with alternate command spellings when firmware disagrees.
Now playing Title, artist, album, album art, service (Spotify, TIDAL, AirPlay, and others), elapsed and remaining time, track number, and audio quality. Album Art URL is text for the Watch Panel.
Presets Presets 1–12 with names, artwork, a list variable, and Play Preset. Presets are configured in the WiiM Home app.
Multiroom Join, leave, group all, dissolve, group volume, and group mute. Followers can mirror the leader, and transport sent to a follower can go to the leader.
Audio and device EQ on/off and 22 presets, audio output selection, 12V trigger, sleep timer, status LED, reboot, and a raw API command. A doorbell-style notification URL ducks and resumes playback.
Events Started Playing, Paused, Stopped, Track Changed, Source Changed, Volume Changed, Mute Changed, Group Changed, Came Online, Went Offline, Presets Updated.
